How can I get the searches to show in tabs instead of windows?
A:
Adjust your browser to open links in new tabs. Search for “open links in tabs” + your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave) for step-by-step instructions.

My computer slows down when I do a lot of searches.
A:
Each open tab consumes memory/CPU. Open fewer at a time, or close completed tabs using Close opened on the home page.

Is my data secure on SearchOpener?
A:
Your pasted terms are processed locally in your browser. They aren’t sent anywhere else. We don’t store your searches on our servers.

The Close All button doesn’t work as I expected.
A:
It closes only the tabs that were most recently opened by the tool. Some sites (at times, Brave search) can refuse scripted closes; those tabs must be closed manually.
